The Toronto Pride Hockey Tournament

The Toronto Pride Hockey Tournament is an annual inclusive event for queer women and trans people, taking place May 30 and 31, 2025 at the Ford Performance Centre. Bringing together more than 200 players, volunteers and spectators, the tournament celebrates diversity and inclusion in hockey and promotes the love of the sport for all. This year’s event will host a queer vendor market, appearances from prominent names in professional hockey, a silent auction, and more. With the generous support of sponsors, all proceeds from the tournament will be donated to local charities making a meaningful impact in the 2SLGBTQ+ and hockey communities. Past beneficiaries include the Orange Jersey Project, Hamilton Trans Health Coalition, and the Get REAL movement, all dedicated to promoting equality, acceptance, and resources for the 2SLGBTQ+ and hockey communities.

PAST TOURNAMENTS

TPHT was founded in 2023 and has expanded its reach each year, a testament to the growing visibility and representation of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in sports. Past tournament highlights include puck drops from PWHL players Carly Jackson and Brianne Jenner, Auction items from CCM and the first ever sledge hockey Pride game.
